Great little diner !
Down home cooking !
Like mama makes .
This location seems to have a slight edge over the other Noe V location ( 24 th )
That store is bigger , this one
Always seems a little better .
Classic .
Popped in early , not many other faces .
Noe Valley scramble rocks !!
Service , friendly and attentive.
Good cup of Joe !

We love Toast on Church and come here basically every weekend. The food consists of comforting diner favorites, but they also have delicious salads and the huevos rancheros are a favorite. Pair it with a mimosa and what could be better?
The staff are all super friendly and the service is great. We have probably come here a hundred times and always have a great experience. It's a great place to bring a dog as well, because a lot of the seating is outdoors and the wait is never more than 10-15 mins. -

I love toast! Best breakfast place in the neighborhood. I always sit at the bar, which is great for solo dining.
Hash browns, bacon, eggs, and toast. How can you go wrong!
Areej is so welcoming and has great service skills. The kitchen is quick and efficient.
If you're in the area, def check it out! -

If you are not feeling the whole DIY thing for breakfast, this place will suffice. Otherwise, don't come here expecting, say for them to toast your walnuts for your banana walnut pancakes nor make pancakes from scratch.
Being the bay area, and SF, no less, I guess I'm not allowed to complain about prices, but $2 extra charge for real maple syrup? Is maple syrup the new square footage of the food world in SF? I must've used less than 2 oz of the stuff! I mean, talk about nickle and diming. I was genuinely concerned we would be charged for the butter, the napkins or even the salt and pepper on the table, but thankfully we weren't. It was an unpleasant surprise to know syrup wasn't included, but I guess, like airlines charging for baggage, this could be the new norm.
I will say what the coffee lacked in heat, it made up for in flavor. I'd give a limb or my spouse for a perfectly brewed cup.
Our little table was on a slope in the corner, and it was a midge uncomfortable.
All in all, you can expect to spend about $40 if you both order coffee and maple syrup with your individual meals- that would add up to an additional $8 -10 to your bill? I think. For me, I think I would rather just muster up some motivation and guilt my kid or spouse into making pancakes at home next time. -

Quaint restaurant in Noe Valley! We loved everything about this! I had the eggs Benedict and my husband has the noe valley scramble! The food was fabulous, the coffee was also fabulous, and the service was top par! Areej was our server and she was so attentive, sweet, and just amazing!
Thank you Toast for a fabulous breakfast!!! Wow! We are impressed!!!
